Who we are

SeenByAI is a trading name of Northbeam Limited (NZBN 9429054024977), a New Zealand company based in Auckland. Northbeam Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions about this policy or your information go to hello@seenbyai.co.nz. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

When you request a free snapshot:

• your business name, website address and email address
• your suburb, if you give it
• how you found us (for example a social media post or another website), so we know which posts are useful

When you book a Sprint, we also collect a contact name and phone number, billing details for the invoice, and temporary access to your website and listings if you choose the done-for-you option. We stop using that access when the Sprint is finished, and we ask you to remove it.

The audit itself looks at information about your business that is already public: your website, your Google Business Profile, and listings and mentions found through web search.

Why we use it

• To produce and email your snapshot or full audit
• To deliver a Sprint you’ve booked, including the re-audit 21 days later
• For Sprint clients, to ask AI tools a few questions about your trade and area before and after the Sprint, so we can show what changed. We use your business name and suburb for this.
• To send one follow-up email about the Sprint after your snapshot. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To stop the free snapshot being abused: one per website every 30 days, and a human check on the form

If we contacted you first

We email New Zealand businesses whose email address is published on their own website, about how their business appears in AI search. Before we write, we ask ChatGPT who it recommends for your trade and area, and run our free check on your website.

We use only details your business has published, only to contact you about your business, and our email tells you the page where we found your address. We keep a copy of that page and of what we sent, so we can show where your details came from. We never buy lists.

Reply “stop” and we’ll add you to our do-not-contact list the same day, and you won’t hear from us again. We delete details of businesses we haven’t worked with after 12 months.

Services that help us

We use a few trusted services to run the audit and send email. Each only receives what it needs for its part of the job:

• Make, which runs our automations
• Google, for email, file storage and Google Business Profile data
• Anthropic, whose AI reads your public website and listings to score them
• Serper and Foursquare, for search results and listing data
• Bright Data, which runs our questions through ChatGPT from New Zealand
• Google Gemini, for answers based on Google Maps
• PDFShift, which turns your report into a PDF
• Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the form is used by a person

Some of these services are based outside New Zealand, mainly in the United States.

Visitor logs

Like most websites, our host keeps a standard log of visits: the page requested, the time, your browser type and IP address. Logs are deleted after 14 days. We use them only for a daily count of visits and where they came from. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your audit results so we can run your re-audit and compare before and after. You can ask us to delete your information at any time: email hello@seenbyai.co.nz with “delete my data” in the subject line, and we’ll do it within 5 working days. You can also ask to see or correct what we hold about you.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own marketing, and we don’t use it for anything beyond the service you asked for or, if we contacted you first, the contact described above.
